METALLICA Frontman To be Honored By LITTLE KIDS ROCK

October 9, 2013

METALLICA frontman James Hetfield will be honored by Little Kids Rock during the organization's annual benefit event at the headquarters of Facebook in Menlo Park, California. The event will take place on Saturday, November 9 and Hetfield will receive the "Livin' The Dream Award." The award was named in honor of Josef Desimone, head chef at Facebook, who supported Little Kids Rock and passed away this past summer in a motorcycle accident.

Commented Little Kids Rock: "[Desimone] had a big rock and roll heart and dedicated much of his time to supporting many local charities, including Little Kids Rock."
